Awarded year after year

LAGO has already been named Germany’s “Best Shopping Center” four times since 2012. We also secured the “German Brand Award” for the third time in a row in 2018. These awards make us proud because they show that we offer our customers outstanding quality. Above all, however, they are an incentive for us to continue to do everything we can to ensure that you feel comfortable with us.

GERMAN BRAND AWARD 2018

By winning the German Brand Award 2018, LAGO Shopping-Center has proven its successful brand management for the third time in a row.

In its verdict, the jury particularly emphasized the stringency with which the brand has been consistently managed since its opening. “The fact that the focus is also on participatory elements in customer contact and on sustainability rounds off the brand essence. No wonder, then, that LAGO is one of the most successful shopping centers in Germany,” was the jury’s assessment.

The initiator of the competition is the German Design Council, which is one of the world’s leading competence centers for communication and knowledge transfer in the field of design and was founded in 1953 on the initiative of the German Bundestag.

BEST SHOPPING CENTER 2017

In 2017, LAGO was named “Germany’s Best Shopping Center” for the fourth time since 2012. LAGO Center Manager Peter Herrmann and his team are delighted with the award: “This is a wonderful recognition for us, our tenants and the more than 1,000 LAGO employees. It is only through their daily commitment that we succeed in inspiring our visitors anew for LAGO every day.” But such an award is also a good opportunity to thank customers for their loyalty and numerous visits, he said. “Satisfied customers are the best reward for our efforts,” emphasizes Peter Herrmann.

CHARITY AND SOCIAL COMMITMENT OF THE LAGO

With heart and donations for a good cause

As a service provider, we know that what matters most is the people. In the shopping center, in life, in society. That’s why we highly recognize when people get involved in helping others. All the more so if this commitment also benefits the city of Constance, of which we are a part and which is very close to our hearts.

With the Stadtsportverband Konstanz e.V. we have found an organization whose goals we support not only with our hearts but also with donations. Under the leadership of LAGO Center Manager Peter Herrmann, we started a cooperation a few years ago that enables the association to carry out projects for children and young people. What began with the support of young refugees has now expanded into a comprehensive collaboration from which a wide variety of children in Konstanz kindergartens and schools benefit. “We were looking for a long time for a meaningful way to support further projects and offers for children and young people in Constance. In the Stadtsportverband, we have found an excellent partner for this,” says Peter Herrmann.

The donation sum comes about in the simplest way imaginable: for every LAGO shopping voucher sold, one euro goes to the city sports association. In this way, customers also contribute to the good cause – without making a donation themselves.
