PREHISTORIC SQUIDS IN THE FACADE: WITNESSES OF A BYGONE ERA
The facade of LAGO is made of a 155-million-year-old limestone – if you look closely, you can actually discover fossils, for example of prehistoric octopuses.
These and other aspects of natural and cultural history are addressed by the new city tour “Nature & Culture.” The Lake Constance Nature Museum and the BUND Konstanz invite you to an approximately one-and-a-half-hour walk to interesting stations between the natural and the cultural. The city tour is designed as a free audio guide: So you can discover special places in Constance at your own pace.
