A YEAR FULL OF HIGHLIGHTS

366 days, 265 posts on Instagram, 12 new openings and 5 re-openings after renovation/relocation, over 600 guests at the brilliant event for the opening of GLORIOUS BASTARDS: these figures make us proud and are indicative of the year in which LAGO celebrated its 20th birthday!

Here are our top 10 highlights from 2024 (although we don’t want to rank them in any particular order):

1. Our flagship project: GLORIOUS BASTARDS with GLORIOUS BUTCHER and GLORIOUS GARDEN as well as PRIVATE ROOM. After four years of planning, development and construction, the new it-location on Lake Constance will open on June 7, 2024 with a more than successful event.

2. On June 22, 2024, Thalia Osiander opens at LAGO, the first and so far only joint bookstore of the regional bookstore Osiander and the market-leading omni-channel bookseller Thalia in German-speaking countries.

3. On April 22, 2024, the LAGO celebrates its 20th birthday: where once there was only a railroad yard with a locomotive shed and canteen, the LAGO opened its doors for the first time in 2004 and has since been a destination and experience for visitors from Constance, the Lake Constance region and far beyond.

4. The LAGO is becoming ever greener: this year, the owner of the LAGO, Union Investment, has once again made major investments. The LAGO is to become completely climate-neutral by 2050 at the latest! Among other things, a photovoltaic system on the roof will ensure this.

5. The LAGO annual campaign makes inspiration tangible: The hand-drawn fashion illustrations by talented artist Florian Riemerschmid immortalize two young, fashion-conscious Constance personalities, Lea Piendl and Johanna Schneider, for whom the LAGO is a world full of creativity. They accompany us throughout the year and all four seasons.

6. At two live events, our visitors will also be delighted to receive their very own personal fashion illustration from the capable hands of Florian Riemerschmid. They take a piece of LAGO, a piece of inspiration and individuality home with them.

7. The trend scouts from Silverleafs are making their magic happen at LAGO again this year: The summer staging of our decorations, for example, plays with the trend colors Radiant Red, Cornflower Blue and Indian Yellow. Inspiring decorative worlds with great photo spots are created for visitors.

8. Skechers, ZARA, Cotidiano, Pull & Bear, Orovivo, Cecil, Schneckenburger, LAGO Apotheke, HUMANIC, Rituals, SCHIESSER, Apollo, Swarovski…we couldn’t get enough of celebrating new openings and reopenings and we loved it!

9. Our shiny new logo has been greeting visitors to the LAGO façade for a few weeks now. We are delighted to receive so much positive feedback on this change!

10. It was also a year of collaborations: 1,066 LAGO followers took part in the shopping competition with influencer Anahita Rehbein on Instagram. We made many people happy with tickets for the Constance thermal baths, the Charles Knie circus, a catamaran trip, the GuteZeit Festival and the Seenachtfest at GLORIOUS BASTARDS as well as great prizes and voucher prizes.

And you – dear visitors – have made us happy! With loyalty, joy, constructive feedback, positive feedback, recommendations, interaction on social media…thank you for an indescribably beautiful year 2024! We look forward to the next one, in which we can get to know and discover all the new features together.
