Advent, Advent, everyone is rushing from shop to shop and stall to stall. If you are looking for the perfect gifts for your loved ones and want a moment of contemplation or simply a breather, you will find both at LAGO. Between gift hunting and the scent of mulled wine, we have created space for Christmas Advent music. Every Saturday before Christmas, the customer information desk on the ground floor is transformed into a mini stage for extraordinary live acts.

WHEN & WHERE?
Performances will take place at 12:00 p.m., 2:00 p.m., 4:00 p.m., and 6:00 p.m. – each lasting around 15 minutes. As mentioned, they will be held directly at the customer information desk on the ground floor of the LAGO Shopping Center. This makes it the ideal place to pause for a moment, take a deep breath, and enjoy the moment.
A few words about the artists.
DARIA BATSCHI – HARP MUSIC WITH INTERNATIONAL APPEAL
Harpist Daria Batschi, originally from Bucharest, is one of the most exceptionally talented young musicians in her field. She has performed as a soloist at the Romanian Athenaeum and played with the Ploiești Philharmonic Orchestra. She has won numerous prizes at national and international competitions, including first prize at the Gradus Ad Parnassum competition, and most recently won third prize at the renowned Concours Français de la Harpe 2025 in Limoges. The finalist in “Romanians Got Talent” 2021 has attended numerous masterclasses and is currently studying harp in the bachelor’s program at the Stella Vorarlberg Private University of Music in Austria. Look forward to virtuoso recitals ranging from classical to contemporary and crossover.
ANNA CHOI – SOPRANO WITH CHARISMA & AWARDS
When she sings, it’s magical. The young coloratura soprano captivates audiences with her vocal precision, great passion, and award-winning virtuosity. She has won first prize in the Citta Di Crotone competition (Italy), sixth prize in the Basel International Online Vocal Competition, and third prize in the national singing competition in Korea, among others. She has also received numerous awards as a pianist and composer. “The young singer, coloratura soprano Anna Choi,” writes the Rottaler Zeitung, “made no secret of her great passion for operetta, and indeed: this music suits her – but so does opera…” You can be sure that she will also shine at LAGO – with Christmas music.
RAPHAEL BRUNNER – VIRTUOSO SOUNDS ON THE ACCORDION
Raphael Brunner brings a special tone color to LAGO with his expressive accordion playing. The multi-award-winning musician has already performed at venues such as the Elbphilharmonie Hamburg, the Vienna Konzerthaus, and the Philharmonie Luxembourg. His style ranges from classical music to tango nuevo, jazz, and contemporary compositions of his own. Brunner has been honored with the Vorarlberg Culture Prize for Contemporary Interpretation, among other awards, and has thrilled audiences in Europe, Asia, and Latin America as a soloist, stage musician, and composer. You can look forward to his Christmas performance.
DUO CHAT NOIR – PIANO & CELLO WITH CHARACTER
Duo Chat Noir (French for “black cat”) consists of Marvin and Philipp. One plays the cello, the other the piano. The two met in 2020 while studying film music at the Film Academy Ludwigsburg – and soon after, they formed their group. Their music is influenced by their shared passion for jazz, funk, pop, and soul, as well as arranging and composing. What makes them special is that they reinterpret well-known songs in a completely new way – minimalist, emotional, and with a unique timbre for cello and piano. It’s a sound that surprises and moves you. Originally from the Stuttgart area, the two now also play at Lake Constance, in Austria, and Switzerland – as they will this December at LAGO.
