With “matcho”, a stylish spot for all matcha lovers has opened in Constance. Everything here revolves around the trendy drink from Japan: intense green, certified organic matcha – pure or as a matcha latte. It’s available hot, iced or fruity: strawberry, mango and other purees provide a summery kick of freshness. Served with croissants and cookies – soft, sweet and perfect for dipping. Of course, cappuccino, flat white & co. are also on the menu. The modern, minimalist ambience brings big city flair to Constance’s old town. Tip: Enjoy your drink to relaxed DJ beats, often played live here. Not (yet) a matcha fan? A visit to matcho might change that.

NEW: wabisabi by umami – ramen, bowls & more
At the new wabisabi by umami, which is reminiscent of hip ramen bars in Tokyo, you can experience a piece of Japanese food culture: natural ingredients, harmonious flavors and a reduced but refined preparation. This is exactly what the menu reflects – from different Gao Baos variations to ramen with an intense broth, salads and bowls with pickled vegetables, tofu, salmon and more through to curries, homemade lemonades & fresh smoothies. Especially nice: the open kitchen allows a look behind the scenes. The ambience is bright, minimalist and yet warm – with bamboo stools, a natural stone look and botanical elements. Ikrams – Dreams from 1001 nights
Directly opposite LAGO, Ikrams serves modern interpretations of Lebanese cuisine – fresh, aromatic and authentically prepared. The menu offers a varied selection of traditional mezze, hearty meat dishes and sweet desserts. Our recommendation: spicy hummus, tender lamb & homemade baklava. Vegetarian and vegan options are just as common there as gluten-free alternatives. Most dishes are – typically Lebanese – perfect for sharing and can be combined as desired. In summer, the outdoor terrace invites you in, otherwise the stylish interior with oriental accents and large tables creates a feel-good atmosphere inside.
