When you hear the bells ringing on 6 December, it’s time: St. Nicholas is making his way through LAGO accompanied by his faithful companion Knecht Ruprecht. Between 11 a.m. and 4 p.m., the two will be travelling throughout the centre, handing out sweets and spreading good cheer. Whether young or old, anyone who encounters them can look forward to a nice chat and a sweet surprise – and perhaps a cheeky remark or two from Knecht Ruprecht.
The two are not in a fixed location, but will be going from floor to floor. Just keep your eyes open and you’re sure to bump into them – spontaneous selfies are expressly allowed! It’s the ideal day to shop for gifts and take a little pre-Christmas magic home with you.
And who knows: maybe St. Nicholas will pass on your little Christmas wishes to the person in charge if you ask him nicely… So come by, stroll through the festively decorated centre and look forward to seeing the man in the red coat!
